Situated in the lovely East Neuk of Fife, St Andrews is a charming historic town of that attracts visitors from across the globe. It is a place of history, education and culture; home to the oldest university in Scotland. the town is fondly regarded as the “Home of Golf”, with some of the finest courses in the world on your door step.

Places of Interest
Medieval City Centre
St Andrews’ Medieval style centre includes a collection of cobbled streets and narrow alleys where you will find shops, cafés and restaurants.
High on the agenda of places to visit in the town centre should be :

- West port
- Blackfriars chapel
- Martyrs’ monument
- The Byre Theatre
Within walking distance of St Andrews centre
If you have time to venture slightly out of the historic centre there are many more attractions still within walking distance including:

The “Home of Golf”

The oldest university in Scotland
St Andrews University in located in the heart of the centre of town. The beautiful buildings and ground have inspired visitors and graduates since 1410 and the university is also home to where Prince William and Kate famously met. St Andrews is often compared to Cambridge and Oxford as one of the top universities in Britain.
